Ernest Hardy L.A. Weekly Dead One never generates either the fear or just tension that it intends with its portentous music, religious iconography and meant-to-be-creepy voice-overs. Sep 13, 2007 Full Review Read all reviews

steve d I am not sure I have ever seen a fan film as cheaply made as this supposed feature. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review don s Based on a comic I'm not familiar with, this reminded me of the comic Love and Rockets in tone and the artwork in the beginning. The story idea is good, but the execution is off by miles. There is no tension built, the horror aspects were downplayed with no scares, and a superhero connotation was possibly thrown in. I enjoyed the religious overtones, but the movie seemed to lack focus. I applaud the effort, but can't recommend it.
