Audience Member It's man on man on man vs. nature in the great outdoors. A duo of class act trail survivors take a young guy on an strictly back-to-nature expedition and proceed to make a bunch of dumb decisions resulting in a bad time. The acting isn't too bad but then again the characters are all two-dimensional. You can't really say the young man learns and grows much beyond picking up a few survival tricks. You'd think the group would have brought more water with them on the trip. If anything, let it be a precautionary tale: if you're going to go hiking in hundreds of miles of wilderness, bring smart things like a magnifying glass, flare gun, medical kit, radio, food and water. And don't go if one of the people you're going with seems like an unhinged maniac. 2/5. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I definitely think this movie at least deserves a watch if you like suspense and good atmosphere. The movie itself doesn't really go very far but there are some shocking scenes that are a nice change to the plot. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review don s I really don't mind taking chances on low-budget movies. It is like panning for gold. Every now and then you get a nugget. This isn't that time. This was made in 16 days for $100,000. The acting is okay, but someone needed to write a story that viewers could follow. The trip into the forest seemed pointless, and the end result of the trip was never in doubt. Nice try, but fail. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member God damn this movie is so fuckin swag. The plot is great and its really deep and meaningful. My favorite character is Slade he's so awesome OH GODDAMN THIS MOVIE IS SO FUCKING FANTASTIC I WANT TO WATCH IT EVERYDAY HOOOOOLY SHIT I LOST BELIEF IN GOD BECAUSE OF THIS MOVIE BUT IN A GOOD WAY i was terrifed and didn't sleep for 5 weeks but it was so good i recomend it for all Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I wasn't expecting much from this movie due to the fact that I got it in a 8 movie collection and the first movie I watched in the set was a big o' fat dud Ring rip off from Australia. The soundtrack doesn't fit very well and not great acting but I liked the cinematography and surreal scenes of the Julian character losing it. All in all okay movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Bit of a boring survival film that has so many things that make little sense or add to the plot. The characters are a bore and the ending was unsatisfying. This film is too slow to be suspenseful or entertaining. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews
