cherry k It's the kind of movie one stumbles upon when hunting for retro thrillers and this lesser known gem, though albeit, cheesy, with the Decadent Eighties, leaves it's mark as a Decent Eighties watch. I came in for Christopher Reeve and oh boy, he really does a role turnaround here, no more Man of Steel in red and blue here, mostly grey...but no, I am not wading into spoilers here. It's got a Victorian Rebecca-kind of feel to it in it's plot, and the lead actress does shine as a grieving mom who sees what others can't see. Confused? I did that deliberately, so that you can uncover this one for a rainy night viewing. Giving away too much may mean letting it down. A good, one-time watch bordering on the supernatural....
