cherry k Nov 17 It's the kind of movie one stumbles upon when hunting for retro thrillers and this lesser known gem, though albeit, cheesy, with the Decadent Eighties, leaves it's mark as a Decent Eighties watch. I came in for Christopher Reeve and oh boy, he really does a role turnaround here, no more Man of Steel in red and blue here, mostly grey...but no, I am not wading into spoilers here. It's got a Victorian Rebecca-kind of feel to it in it's plot, and the lead actress does shine as a grieving mom who sees what others can't see. Confused? I did that deliberately, so that you can uncover this one for a rainy night viewing. Giving away too much may mean letting it down. A good, one-time watch bordering on the supernatural....
