Rami A Just another attempt at making something that doesn't work. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/26/24 Full Review Jens B It is terrifying how accurately a cartoonish 80s action flick (with Bronson in his 60s) predicts how society would develop. There are blocks in every bigger city right now, where the police more or less has given up, and a Paul Kersey is severely needed. We need to take matters into our own hands and make our neighborhoods nice and clean again! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Maximus G Terrible and hilarious. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review David A The acting and particularly script is so bad, why do they make the baddies so bad with no redeeming features?! Reality has taken a walk in this film! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/03/24 Full Review Alain M Death Wish 3" might elevate the action but takes a hit in storytelling, earning it a 2-star rating. Despite an improvement in action from the previous installments, the narrative takes a nosedive, leaving viewers with a sense of disappointment. It appears that the collaboration of Winner and Bronson might have been driven more by financial motives than a commitment to delivering a compelling story. While the film may satisfy those seeking action, the lack of a strong narrative diminishes its overall impact, resulting in a missed opportunity for a more well-rounded cinematic experience. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/16/24 Full Review nick s The movie wasn't too bad until the final shootout scene when it just went nuts. The stunt team and pyrotechnics probably had a blast, but it made for a pretty daft film with all the exploding buildings and rattling machine guns. The gang members looked about as dangerous as a theatre group; Bronson's love interest could have played his daughter; the gang leader had the worlds weirdest receding hairline. The morality of the whole thing was pretty suspect too, with neighbours delighting in hoodlums getting slaughtered en masse. All a bit silly. Jay Carr Boston Globe Death Wish 3 is still another in this year's long parade of pathetic power fantasies, cynically exploiting the rage and anxiety of the dispossessed.
