Tanjiro Kamado -- a boy who joined an organization dedicated to hunting down demons called the Demon Slayer Corps after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon. While growing stronger and deepening his friendships and bonds with fellow corps members, Tanjiro has battled many demons with his comrades -- Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. Along the way, his journey has led him to fight alongside the Demon Slayer Corps' highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui within the Entertainment District, as well as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village. As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji. The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons' stronghold -- the Infinity Castle. And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.

High-octane craziness. This movie feels like four episodes of pure spectacle. The 3D animation of the castle is immaculate, and the fights are aura-farming at its finest. A start to the final arc that delivers on every front.

the screen x option is good but my problem is the whole screen wasn't on during the whole movie instead of certain sections

My low star rating has more to do with technical issues at my showing than it does with the movie or content itself. I saw the English dub at a Screen X theater, and both sides of the screen were mis-timed with the center screen, which took what would have been an extremely immersive experience and made it really distracting and jarring. From what the manager at the theater told me, they were only sent the files for the wings of the Screen X theater for the Japanese sub and not the English dub. So their projectionist had to mishmash both versions together and try to get it timed up as closely as possible. I’m not sure if it’s a widespread issue across all English dub showings, but I cannot recommend it for the theater I went to.

I loved seeing demon slayer on the big screen. This is close to the end of the storyline, so the stakes are very high with lots of action. Great animation, great audio while watching in the x screen format. Extra images were projected to the left and right of the main screen. The only problem with the movie is, since it's basically a bunch of anime episodes stitched together.The slow story parts kind of took you out of the action. The movie is also pretty long, so I feel like I got great value for my money. I can't wait for the two remaining sequels.

Synopsis

Tanjiro Kamado -- a boy who joined an organization dedicated to hunting down demons called the Demon Slayer Corps after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon.
