Audience Member Even though I have no real clue who "The Descendant of Wing Chun" was after watching this film, I'm still giving it 3.5/5 for the awesome fight scenes. The choreography was top-notch and the fight scenes were plentiful. There were so many great sparring sequences that, in the end, I didn't really care that the film had no main character, or a descernable plot, or even subtitles that made sense. All I had to do was wait a few minutes, and soon everyone would be kicking ass and taking names again. There is one notable moment that isn't a fight scene, though: the bearded master shown on the cover is talking to his student, using an orange as a metaphor. "You see, when we eat the fruit, its seeds spill on the ground and grow into plants." "But master," says the disciple, "What if something eats the seeds?" "That's simple," replies the master, pulling a bunch of bananas out of nowhere, "Then use a banana. Bananas have no seeds." Brilliant. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
