The leads are flat and never break free from their unimaginative archetypes, while the lines are elementary at best. Go to Full Review

Hard to follow. Not because it was complex, rather it was confusing. Go to Full Review

Violet B W 07/03/2024 You have no idea how good this film is, thanks TUBI for recommending it! It hits on many levels. The writing is on point and this is a great directorial debut for Andrew Stapp. I loved the characters especially Vincent and Skeeter. I highly recommend it. A must see indie film. Only very small negative is that it's not child friendly but that's ok. See more Yvonne H 06/20/2024 My husband and I caught this on TUBI and we really enjoyed it. I used to edit videos so I greatly appreciated the non linear approach of the film as it kept me guessing. The excellent VO narration really was the glue, as it helped connect the timelines or 'worlds'. Tony Todd could have been used in more scenes but Stelio Savante (who's films and roles we've always liked) more than carries it, the Vincent character has charm and presence in spades. We loved the way his character became the 'messenger' between both worlds. I would give it five stars but for the cinematography. It was annoying because it was so inconsistent. Sometimes overly shaky and other times very amateurish in the way it was framed. The score was excellent. Marfa seems like a very interesting city. I strongly recommend Destination Marfa if you like 'Twilight Zone' type themes or really anything scifi. See more Yves R 09/22/2022 Found this on TUBI. Was well worth the discovery. Felt like a stand alone Twin Peaks, with some well chosen locations. The cinematography was funky though, that's my only issue. See more @jeroduptown 11/04/2021 A mess of a plot that Tony Todd couldn't save. See more 08/14/2021 Crappy script, subpart acting, confusing, bad jokes and shotty camera work. What a waste of time. The lack of talent the director has is well displayed here in this awful film. See more 08/11/2021 Cool sci-fi thriller with a slight 80's feel to it. You'll definitely want to watch it again, there's more than meets the eye. If you like the twilight zone you'll enjoy Destination Marfa. Hats off to writer/director Andy Stapp for the multiple awards and film festival selections. See more Read all reviews
