Eddie Harrison film-authority.com '…despite a few pacing problems and an abrupt ending, The Devil’s Workshop is an effective intro for the talent involved, and for Mitchell, it’s a show-reel that demonstrates a real talent in a tricky, dramatic, somewhat diabolical turn...' Rated: 3/5 Mar 14, 2023 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media This lightweight, semi-comedic horror movie starts interestingly enough and has some unexpected moments, but its final stretch feels like a tasteless prank, cheapening the impact of the whole. Rated: 2/5 Oct 15, 2022 Full Review Erik Childress Movie Madness Podcast The film is two (admittedly decent) portions that keep knocking each other of the way and you keep wanting to stay with either one instead of being bounced around. Radha Mitchell is great but it needed a more focused narrative. Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 11, 2022 Full Review Amie Simon I Love Splatter Bottom line: this is an indie horror made with love that’s worth your time. Hold onto your butts for that last 15 minutes! Oct 7, 2022 Full Review Kat Hughes THN A film made by the committed performances by Granaderos, Mitchell, and Hirsch, Devil’s Workshop deserves a spot on that coveted Halloween countdown watch-list. Rated: 4/5 Sep 30, 2022 Full Review Mark Dujsik Mark Reviews Movies [T]he cheap and rushed payoff does a final disservice to this previously promising material... Celia N I usually like scary movies but I did not like this one at all it was so bad that I thought about just stopping the movie before it was over prolly one of the worst movies I ever watched tbh was not impressed I feel like it could of been better then what it was . A big reason why I watched it in the 1st place is because I recognized Timothy one of the actors that I have watched before if I can rate this move zero starts I would but tgere no option for that Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/22/25 Full Review cassandra c I am a huge horror movie buff. But this movie was not good at all. It was slow and the acting sucked. Worst movie I have ever seen in my life. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/25 Full Review Adam D I was initially intrigued by the movie description, and the more this movie went along that only increased. When it got to the part where I thought things were going to kick into really high gear, it turns out that was just the ending. The actors were all perfect, especially Radha Mitchell. Aside from the strong cast though, a little more time in the creative ovens could have served this movie well. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/11/25 Full Review Ian H Incoherent and confused. Nothing made sense. Weak ending Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/26/24 Full Review Michelle K The lead actor was good so I was hopeful but the storyline was odd and unsatisfying. Nothing much scary about this. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/13/24 Full Review Katya G Totally ridiculous movie, if I can call it that. It feels like an amateur movie made by undergrads that went totally wrong. The only good thing about it is the widespread unintentional humour.
