This lightweight, semi-comedic horror movie starts interestingly enough and has some unexpected moments, but its final stretch feels like a tasteless prank, cheapening the impact of the whole.

The film is two (admittedly decent) portions that keep knocking each other of the way and you keep wanting to stay with either one instead of being bounced around. Radha Mitchell is great but it needed a more focused narrative.

Devil's Workshop (2022) Awful Story (11,767 – 15 Jun 2025 – by Claudio Carvalho) Clayton Walker (Timothy Granaderos) is a non-confident actor rival of his colleague Donald (Emile Hirsch). When he has the chance to perform as a demonologist, he looks for a real one on the Internet to learn and practice demonology since he will have the last audition on Monday. Soon he is contacted by Eliza (Radha Mitchell) and he travels to her house in the countryside to spend the weekend with her. He is well received by Eliza, who tries to bond with him. When they begin the demonic ritual, Clayton finds the horror in Eliza’s house. “Devil's Workshop” (2022) is a horror movie by Chris von Hoffmann with an awful story. It is amazing how the beautiful and talented Radha Mitchell accepted to work in a movie like that. She is wasted in the role of the demonologist Eliza. How producers accept to invest in a film like “Devil's Workshop” is another questioMy vote is two. I usually like scary movies but I did not like this one at all it was so bad that I thought about just stopping the movie before it was over prolly one of the worst movies I ever watched tbh was not impressed I feel like it could of been better then what it was . A big reason why I watched it in the 1st place is because I recognized Timothy one of the actors that I have watched before if I can rate this move zero starts I would but tgere no option for that

I was initially intrigued by the movie description, and the more this movie went along that only increased. When it got to the part where I thought things were going to kick into really high gear, it turns out that was just the ending. The actors were all perfect, especially Radha Mitchell. Aside from the strong cast though, a little more time in the creative ovens could have served this movie well.
