Paul Parcellin Film Threat The acting is spotty and stiff, the production values are strictly low rent. Hailey Heisick's Jayne is passable in a role that requires little depth. Trash culture addicts may get a charge out of Diamonds to Dust. Rated: 5/10 Oct 17, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Frank F This is a low budget Docudrama that reminds me of TV movie in the 1980's.It's a great character driven drama that tells a story. Jayne Mansfield was an incredible STAR. A single mother supporting all her 5 children and three ex-husbands using what she had to offer the business at the time, her body. Well acted by it's star Hailey Heisick and supported by Mike Funk who gives the strongest supporting performance as her third husband. Rocco Palmieri as her last love interest must be mentioned as giving a very strong layered performance. Not the best film but FAR from the worst. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/25 Full Review Audience Member This was a lifetime version Of Jayne's life. It was so awful I could not watch it. It is so inaccurate it should be labeled "Propaganda". As an old Hollywood historian I'm appalled. I bet they spoke to none of the people that knew her. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Diamonds to Dusk is an indie biopic about the life of Hollywood bombshell Jayne Mansfield. I watched this film with my family because a couple of them are really into old Hollywood history, so they really enjoyed learning about one of the most famous Hollywood actresses of all time. I never knew much about Mansfield before this film, besides her death, so it was really interesting for me to learn about how smart she was and to learn about some darker aspects of her life as well. The film is an indie period piece which is always really hard to pull off, so it's tough for the film to measure up with the big budget production value of large studio films, but I get the challenges of a low budget production and I'm rating the film with that understanding. Most importantly, I found the film to have a lot of heart and creativity, so I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in the fascinating life of Jayne Mansfield. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a very informative indie film about the fascinating life of Jayne Mansfield. If you like biopics then I recommend this one. Worth a watch! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Brave indie film gives honest look at a Hollywood tragedy. Surprising how a low budget indie movie was able to pull off a period piece. I'm sure it was challenging to get all the props, wardrobe, cars and such to take you back in time. Nice to see it gives the good with the bad where many gloss over the negative and try to make every sunshine and lollipops. Kudos to the hard work. Definitely and enjoyable watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Ambitious. Great to see a Biopic on Janyen Mansfield. Loved the costumes, hair. Kudos to the Production.
