Esperava mais do bicho-papão e menos do melhor amigo imaginável… "Se uma criança deixar de acreditar no amigo imaginário cedo demais, ele pode virar um bicho-papão."... Mesmo sendo um filme infantil o bicho-papão poderia ser mais assustador e ter mais aparições, adoro bicho-papão… Um filme infantil bem fofinho...

While I admire the concept of the forgotten seeking closure and retribution in a scary genre setting this movie tries to tell an ambitious perspective with an overdrawn and surface level narrative. With a great start I was left underwhelmed by the end of it wanting more than was just on the surface

I had a hard time with Don't Look Under the Bed. I know that this made-for-TV movie is supposed to be for children, but I don't know if my kids even liked it. It's just so goofy and drawn-out and it doesn't make a lot of sense. Plus, while the makeup on the Boogeyman looks good, the rest of the visual effects are really dated. I don't think this will become a Halloween season regular in our home.

Disney's early take into the horror genre - particularly as a kiddie version to Stephen King's "It" - met the average dullness but with a compelling concept from its dated controversial stance while under the constant influence that actually uncover a rare heart and actual minimally fun time in the genre, despite the silliness and decent satisfaction to the resolving issues.
