This the great way of doing a horror movie be a real horror with minimum effects and maximum imagination. I absolutely loved it. See more 02/02/2021 This is a really good and different mid-budget film. The story is very unique and has great acting and plot. One thing from other reviews I’ve read is people thought the deaf shaman was “silly” or some “gimmick “ the director used and used the casting of a deaf actor as reason to pan the film. This is blatant discrimination and the actor’s performance is excellent, along with those of the other main leads. The ending was gut-wrenching in the horrific implications it held and this is one of the few films that I’ve had an immediate second watching of due to its impact. There are a few moderately scary scenes in the film, but it is a slower-paced film, so don’t expect gore or jump scares that make you scream. The true horror comes at the conclusion of the film and is haunting and will likely stay with you for days afterwards. See more 11/06/2019 Slow-paced and not scary, but a good thriller type film.
