SMH Staff Sydney Morning Herald Double Harness is a pleasant little picture, which does what it sets out to do smoothly and gracefully. Jul 22, 2019 Full Review THR Staff The Hollywood Reporter A good many pictures have flowed under the cinematic bridge since Miss Harding has had a part so ideally suited to her. And never has William Powell been so smoothly cast. Jul 21, 2018 Full Review Michael J. Casey Michael J. Cinema A trifle with a dashing and debonair William Powell, a funny Lucile Browne, and a couple of impressive camera moves. Rated: 3/5 Jul 24, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Steve D Surprisingly lifeless given the stars. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/02/24 Full Review Audience Member Ann Harding decides she's going to snag rich and charming playboy William Powell for marriage ends up being a cutie funny pre-code romantic comedy, which features gold digging, mockery of marriage, premarital sex and suggestive dialogue. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member one of the 'lost movies' now found in this pre-code talkie Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member a simple predictable love story not that bad :) Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member A romantic comedy/drama featuring a fairly daring pre-code script. Powell is, as usual, excellent. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member i was interested in this purely because it powell's last film before the thin man and you can tell that he hadnt really found his cinematic voice yet. this isnt a very good film and powell is alright as was ann harding but this doesnt even come close to being nearly as goo as teh weakest of the thin mans Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
