Teddy B Weird, weird, weird, but so inventive and entertaining you cannot look away. The film arrests you in its John Waters/Shock Treatment-esque atmosphere and psycho-sexual elements. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/10/24 Full Review Audience Member The best legacy sequel and nobody’s even heard of it. Filled to the brim with incredible set design and flows incredibly well for such a weird movie. This movie is choreographed like a play and has some camera work that is on another level. The scenes with the two idiosyncratic doctors are the best. I didn’t even touch upon a single actual thing that happens in this movie because it kinda just has to be seen to be believed. Now that this is becoming more wildly available I can see this becoming a way bigger cult classic than it already is. Fair warning is almost as close as you can get to porn without being porn but maybe that’s what hollywoods missing nowadays. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/12/24 Full Review Audience Member "Chinchilla chinchilla chinchilla." A man concerned about his hysterically horny wife introduces her to eminent psychiatrist (and granddaughter to the famous physician who treated somnambulism in inter-War Germany), Dr. Caligari. The titular character applies her therapy to the slutwife, so confident in her unconventional methods which are more akin to some sort of gender-bender S&M than anything you'd find in Psychology Today. This erotic horror-comedy may have a plot as ridiculous as its Teutonic progenitor, but it's truly a disservice to the antecedent by using its name in any form for this pretentious trash. The only connection betwern the films is that a portion of each takes place in an insane asylum and the odd angles of the set-design; the two should not even be mentioned in the same sentence. Who wants to buy my VHS?! $50. Firm. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Hilarious tounge in cheek take on Cabinet of Dr Caligari. An unofficial "Adult" artsy '80s New Wave sequal to the Silent German Expressionist Horror film. Stephen Sayadian, Director of Cafe Flesh brings paranoid Psychoanalytic theory & Sci-fi futurism & critical camp with a script by writer Jerry Stahl Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member The scene where she makes out with the flesh wall is classic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Madness. In an insane asylum. Run bu the sexy/wicked/genius/mad granddaughter of famous Dr. Caligari. Neurological experiments ensue.
