Max B All I have to say that Dumplings is one of the most controversial films ever made in cinema! Beautifully shot and colors, incredible acting all over! Bai Ling and Miriam Chin-Wah Yeung shine! They could never ever remake this as much as I’d love it, the subject matter is just way too taboo and disturbing as can be. This film is special to me because it shows how anyone man or woman would do anything to stay young who are in the spotlight or were celebrities. And as messed up as it is, it makes me hungry and wanna make Dumpings everytime I watch it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/13/23 Full Review Hazkinz amazing movie would recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review jjjjjj j The most disturbing movie I have ever seen. What makes this movie so unique is where it get its "horror" from. It doesn't rely on serial killers or supernatural forces causing horror. Though there is some supernatural effects in the movie, what causes the horror is "regular people", there desires, and what they are willing to do to get what they desire. I really would not recommend seeing this movie unless you are willing to put up with some pretty disturbing stuff. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member While this film had a low budget and it shows at times, it is one I will never forget. It tells a story of a woman obsessed with her past image of youth and beauty, she is willing to do the unimaginable to obtain her radiance once again as it fades with age. An issue many people face after their mid-life. Stomach turning, disturbing, and queasy slow burn of a horror will have you watching til the very end. I recommend if you're into gore .
