Paul Emmanuel Enicola The Movie Buff The result — questionable casting and safely played third act aside — is an interesting film that neither tries to be groundbreaking nor promises to solve its protagonist’s burgeoning angst. Rated: B- Jul 8, 2024 Full Review Q.V. Hough Vague Visages "'Edge of Everything' straddles the line of original storytelling and coming-of-age tropes like its teenage protagonist straddles the line between adolescence and adulthood." Jul 1, 2024 Full Review Bradley Gibson Film Threat An entertaining film and likely will be more relevant to viewers of the appropriate age, that is to say, those who are around or just before their teen years now. Rated: 7/10 Jun 17, 2024 Full Review Betsy Pickle AWFJ.org crafts a nightmare with a familiar coming-of-age formula, a raw depiction of teen peer pressure and an alarming reflection of a licentious youth culture that can’t seem to shake toxic masculinity no matter how “woke” it appears. Jun 6, 2024 Full Review Robert Kojder Flickering Myth There is a bold turn from Sierra McCormick, but the situations Abby finds herself in here come across more as abridged, sparse versions of dynamics from better movies Rated: 2.5/5 Jun 4, 2024 Full Review Josh Bell Crooked Marquee Feldman and Sabella avoid some of the worst tendencies of alarmist teen dramas, but they don't have much to replace them with. Deneen O This was a great coming of age movie! The story, the photography and acting were amazing. The actress who plays Abby is really great. It is relatable no matter what age you are. Wtt egg lol done!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/22/24 Full Review danielle h Edge of everything was so nostalgic for me and took me right back to high school growing up in the Bay Area myself. The movie didn’t feel like they were trying too hard or portraying the typical angsty teen- Abby had layers. The scenery was beautifully captured and there were some amazing shots throughout the film- kudos to the cinematographer! This is an impressive first film from Sabella and Feldman and I can’t wait to see what they do next Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/12/24 Full Review Fabian C Edge of Everything brought me right back to the complexity and excitement of navigating life throughout high-school. The main characters relationships felt real and raw, especially with her long time friends and father. Loved the way the movie was shot especially the scene going across the Golden Gate Bridge! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/12/24 Full Review El G An excellent coming of age film that captures the experience of growing up in Northern California!
