Gabe L What was this movie. Every scene was like I was high Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review James C One of the most absolutely phenomenal 80s movies I've ever seen, potentially even the greatest of all time (GOAT). The combination of a jazz dancer and a gang of street dancers is one of the best dynamics I've ever seen in a film. I would single-handedly fund another movie in this series, by far the best duo of movies I've seen in a while. The pure talent and dedication of these actors such as "Shabba Doo" performing as Ozone one of the most convincing portrayals of a character I've ever seen, made me really feel like I was an 80s street dancer part of his gang and I loved every second of it. If I were able to say one thing about this fantastic piece of cinema I would say "I just wish I could experience it again for the first time". This sums up how amazing this movie is and makes me feel happy knowing I will show everyone I know this film. 10/10 I would recommend it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/17/23 Full Review valo d best movie ever made Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Pete P I'm 54 almost and this is the only film I've ever watched that has made me physically ill......or maybe I was just ill when I watched it? whatever, the memory is a bad one. I appreciate the music and dancing but ended up feeling sick. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/03/22 Full Review daniel k Paul Rudd was not in this movie Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review jon j The breakin' movies were ahead of their time in so many ways. A woman dancing with men as an equal, Ozone and Kelly becoming an interracial couple in the second movie and there was even an LGBTQ character in the first movie. Both Breakin' 1 and Breakin' 2 are highly influential movies to this day and I highly recommend watching them. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Paul Attanasio Washington Post Such aggressive photography could lend John Candy the grace of Gregory Hines. Jan 4, 2018 Full Review Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times Here is a movie that wants nothing more than to allow some high-spirited kids to sing and dance their way through a silly plot just long enough to make us grin.
