Alfons T @AlfonsTremel23 2 days ago Der Film ist einer meiner Lieblings Filme. Ich mag das okkulte Thema und finde er sollte nach so langer Zeit mit neuesten CGI Effekten eine Neuauflage bekommen. Schwarzenegger war 1999 noch Recht jung fände es cool wenn ein polnischer Oligarch Geld spendiert für ein reboot würde gerne über crowd founding Geld sammeln um den Film im Jahr 2028 ins Kino zu bringen. Rosemarys Baby Brauch auch eine Neuauflage. Geiler Film aber nur die 90er Effekte der Teufel sieht in jedem Computer Spiel besser aus. Muss Geld sammeln für eine frischzellenkur. Arnie rockt. The religious conflict between heaven and hell storyline doesn't really work first of all and the film is just a formulaic, incoherent and over excessed action thriller that doesn't fit the classic Schwarzenegger action sphere in so many ways. The acting is poor, the effects are poor and Schwarzenegger is sleepwalking through the running time. And adding the setting at the millennium in New York isn't helping. Gabriel Byrne does what he can as Satan while Kevin Pollak, Rod Steiger, CCH Pounder, Derrick O'Connor and Udo Kier are all wasted as they get nothing to work with in their roles. The only highlight is the lovely Robin Tunney, who does what she can with her character Christine York. "End of Days" goes in the burning bin... See more Richard L @KaneLives Mar 25, 2026 End of Days clearly suffers from sloppy direction (the myriad jump-cuts during action scenes are especially grating), a muted performance from Arnie, and the absolute stupidity of the whole idea of Satan being someone you can blow up with a grenade, but it has some fresh ideas, some great sets, excellent sound design, and a surprisingly satisfying ending.
