Watching all those death becomes boring after a whole. It's true overkill. Go to Full Review

While it does supply access to grim events, most of the feature is fairly goofy, giving its audience a frustratingly messy, and eventually life-affirming (inspiring unintended laughs), sit. Go to Full Review

Has no redeeming value as entertainment or any educational value. Go to Full Review

Many of the segments have lost their ability to shock, or can easily be recognized as fake by today's more media-savvy audience. Interesting as a curious bit of film history, but nothing more. Go to Full Review

Without the carrot of controversy to draw in viewers, Faces of Death would have only the stick of unconvincing faux-documentary footage. Go to Full Review

Sleazy little relic of a movie. Rather fine DVD release that demystifies the whole thing. Go to Full Review

Huey P @MaggotB0y Apr 12 Based, about to watch the 2nd one See more Timothy P @timop1919 Apr 11 I turned it on only because of the new movie that just came out which had an interesting premise and some good reviews so I wanted to be familiar with this. Is the most boring movie ever with the narrator speaking in a tone that will put you to sleep. I don't know how they made death so dull, but they really did. It is so painfully boring to watch. Don't bother. See more Connor W @RT56191568 Apr 7 Super fun watch, Barbie and Dacre were incredible See more Raina B @RT86607434 Apr 7 Trying too hard. The gore isn’t mystifying, just gross. Not even bad in a watch it and laugh at it way. Just boring bad :( See more C B @RT03025588 Aug 17 There must be different versions of the original documentary- the last time I watched it, there were scenes added and deleted from the one I saw five years prior. Whether real or reenacted... this is gruesome stuff that stays with you. I also recall that sequels II and III weren't as horrific as the first installment. Cops, paramedics, etc. don't get paid enough money for what they do IMHO. See more Stefano E @RT12651162 03/23/2025 This is probably the scariest movie on earth See more Read all reviews
