Calum Marsh New York Times The game itself is so good. I’m not sure the movie understands why. Oct 29, 2024 Full Review Meagan Navarro Bloody Disgusting The plot is predictably wholesome. But it’s also so cozy and earnest with a mature depth of emotion lurking beneath that it’s hard not to leave this werewolf adventure with a big grin and likely a few tears shed. Rated: 3/5 Oct 23, 2024 Full Review John Serba Decider Your tolerance for wacky antics will be tested by Family Pack, but always remember that we should be grateful some studio brainz haven’t yet greenlit Hi-Ho Cherry-O: The Movie. Nov 11, 2024 Full Review Luke Gorham In Review Online Unabashedly [takes] a page out of Jumanji’s book, only missing most of that page — to say Uzan’s film is lighter than whipped cream doesn’t quite convey the absolute nothing going on here. To say Junamji seems Kubrickian by contrast gets you closer. Nov 9, 2024 Full Review Jennifer Green Common Sense Media Don't expect too much from this frothy, French family film and you'll do just fine. Oct 25, 2024 Full Review Daniel Hart Ready Steady Cut An endearing movie? Sure. However, the messaging is ruined by the generic and lazy direction. Cody H Making a movie of a game is quite a challenge, take the game Loup Garou (Werewolves). I think they did good for what is possible. The film doesn’t disappoint, even some might think it does. The film maybe starts a bit quick but has all the fun and surprises a nice sofa-film has. It doesn’t always need the complexity. Even the CGI here and there may feel a bit fake, it doesn’t take away the magic because the story keeps it standing up and your fantasy makes it believable. Of course there are always things to comment on, but I found the film amusing enough to satisfy. And somehow the French spoken makes it complete. Don’t expect the best film full of action, but a small world of fantasy storytelling instead. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/29/24 Full Review Audience Member It’s nowadays Jumanji… very artistic and refreshing… i loved this movie.. hopefully I can see something similar soon Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/23/24 Full Review Hugo G Je ne m'attendais pas a une comedie si légère, de la part de Reno mauvais scenario, wokisme , le garçon se cherche , la gamine inseparable de la tablette, D, bref je pense quil's avaient besoin de se renflouer pour rénover leurs villas respectives. un mauvais essai de Remettre Reno dans le cadre de films style des visiteurs . Inegalable Argent gaspillé , trop Hollywood Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/15/24 Full Review matthias s *Loups-Garous/Family Pack* is a playful take on the beloved board game "Les Loups-Garous de Thiercelieux," delivering a decent dose of family-friendly adventure. The story sees a family transported back to a medieval village, where they must expose lurking werewolves to return to their own time. As a fan of the game, I was intrigued to see it brought to life, and while it doesn’t hit every mark, it manages to be enjoyable. Jean Reno adds a nice touch, bringing gravitas to his role, though the acting overall could be sharper. The medieval sets and costumes capture the era well, adding a nice layer of authenticity. While the werewolf design leans into practical effects, it doesn’t quite land—more “man in costume” than genuinely chilling. The humor is hit or miss; some jokes land, but others fall flat, though the film’s self-aware tone keeps it light and engaging. Ultimately, *Loups-Garous/Family Pack* is predictable, but its fun vibe and a few chuckles make it a solid choice for family movie night. It's not perfect, yet its lighthearted spirit and nostalgic nods to the game keep it entertaining enough. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/12/24 Full Review Jo B I have to write it in French, obviously because ça montre la médiocrité des productions française franchouillardes. C est mal joué, le scénario est stupide et sans intérêt. C est dingue l argent dépensé pour ces très beaux effets spéciaux. C est une honte de sortir ( et de faire) en 2024 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/10/24 Full Review Audience Member loulou deserved to die gebril the goat tho Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/08/24 Full Review Read all reviews
