Jeffrey P A seriocomedic approach to a macabre tale of torture and cannibalism. It probably could have done without the hallucinations, and the character the hallucinations were of. Other than that, this is some next level Poe-like horror for most of it's duration. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/26/23 Full Review brad p There's a lot of ideas here that never fully meld together. However, we get the joy of watching a cartoonish villain use a saw and slowly eat a man. Sometimes that's all we can ask for. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Ubchug 4 I absolutely loved this movie. Great acting by the two unknowns. Very interesting story for sure. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review desmond b So, the buzz for this movie is ‘Ted Lasso goes cannibal'. By that, they don't imply we will need to sit through any football matches, but that there is going to be a lot of American "can-do" ardour, conflicting with British reticence and melancholy. Also some dark humour, and a whole lot of gore, which some may find objectionable. Consider yourselves warned. The film is a fascinating study of love, loss, despair, friendship, loneliness and appetite. The gore is perhaps a bit over the top, but no longer unusual in modern films. The acting, despite what other reviewers have said, is great and the story compelling. Neal Ward plays Lionel as both a monster and a clown, a hard role to portray, but he is, in the end, seeking the same as all of us – self-acceptance, love, a validation of his humanity, and a good meal. My full review is at https://thecannibalguy.com/2022/11/20/feed-me/ Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review The G This is a strange film. Tonally bipolar with a recurring need to lurch from zany humour to dark drama. No ones motivations make sense. Every character feel lime they were written and acted inidolation and then spliced together in post. The character of Lionel comes across as a cartoonish portrail of Jessie Eisenbergs Lex Luther. Jumbled, Wild & Strange A film from those with a love of the chaotic & the strange. Deepinside this film is a facination story and wonderful acting and story telling. Its a shame it only shines through in scattered moments. Watch and be prepared to love it and hate it at the same time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/12/22 Full Review Read all reviews
