Josh Rosenblatt Austin Chronicle It's hard to fault a screenwriter for cramming every idea he's ever had about anything into his first movie for fear there won't be a second. Rated: 2/5 Oct 20, 2007 Full Review Nathan Rabin AV Club Reggaeton has officially come of age: The burgeoning subgenre now has a terrible, opportunistic exploitation movie to call its own. Rated: D Oct 12, 2007 Full Review Frank Scheck The Hollywood Reporter No one will mistake director Alejandro Chomski's Feel the Noise for great drama. But there's an undeniable sweetness to the characters, the performers are highly appealing, and the music sizzles. Oct 8, 2007 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Omarion, as he's known in the R&B world, is a bit too low-key at times and even more unconvincing in the film's more melodramatic moments. Rated: 2.0/4.0 Sep 7, 2020 Full Review Kaleem Aftab The National (UAE) The music will satisfy fans, but when the action returns to New York this becomes as annoying as a skipped CD. May 15, 2018 Full Review Prairie Miller NewsBlaze A cool blend of Puerto Rican and Nuyorican rhythmic, racial and family ties that bind, Feel The Noise likewise taps into a hot fusion of African derived sounds and sensibilities that connect those multiple cross-continental roots together. Audience Member Generic and boring, yet somehow still entertaining. Maybe its because it was so bad that I laughed through most of the movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review alex k My Favorite Film Is 1941's Citizen Kane. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member bad, worst, cliche.... just another music film... the actors are bad.... the storyline is trash..... the only thing that's quite acceptable is the soundtracks. other than that, all are just some sort of 'supporting casts'.
