Lovely P 04/10/2023 I absolutely love this mini series! What a plot twist! I wasn't expecting that! Elaine Cassidy and Sally Hawkins was great actresses and also, I'm a huge fan of Sarah Waters, her book including The paying guest, Fingersmith and Tipping the velvet was my favorite! I love "The Handmaiden" but after i watch this mini series i think this is now my favorite. 10/10 See more 01/03/2022 Beautiful and convincing performance from Sally Hawkins, but it felt like there wasn't much being reciprocated from Elaine Cassidy! I did love all the plot twists though, they were super unexpected and great to liven up the film between scenes of wistful staring. See more 11/04/2019 My favorite romance movie by far. The story is crazy with crime, betrayal, and forbidden romance. This movie, and book for that matter, is an absolute see for anyone not scared of LGBTQ.
