martin b The Audience Rating is bogus. This is terrific vintage spy movie loaded with twists and turns that will keep you engaged through the entire movie. Ruth Roman at the top of her game delivery nuance to a complicated character with competing forces inflicted on her. Sterling Hayden is a real WWII hero and Silver Star recipient that gives gravitas to every scene he's in. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review thomas w A Cold War spy story made most watchable by the luscious Ruth Roman. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I have just one question: "Did audiences swallow this hogwash back in 1956?" One thing's rather odd, though: Sputnik wasn't even launched yet, so how many Americans had even heard of an "intercontinental ballistic missile.."? However, it is nice to know that at one time, the Central Intelligence Agency was on the ball! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review dave j Produced, screenplay and directed by Henry S. Kesler with John Emmett (Sterling Hayden) hitching a ride with Ann Nicholson (Ruth Roman) Emmet oblivious what her motives are for driving to San Monica as he was noticing people are following her. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member good action/suspenser Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member The great and gruff Sterling Hayden dropping the hammer once again.
