Ed Travis Cinapse The “train up to avenge my master” trope is not a problem in and of itself, but this one doesn’t infuse much heart or soul into the age-old formula. Sep 5, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member It's a classic martial arts film set-up. A group of students and their master are beaten up by a rival. To avenge their master, the students go their separate ways to find new masters to teach them kung-fu. They do each fine a unique master and then all come back together to exact their revenge with new newly improved kung-fu techniques. No one needs to watch this film for it's story, but the film does have entertaining training sequences and some solid fight sequences. The final showdown is particularly good. I wasn't familiar with any of the star in the film or any of the behind the camera crew members, but this film seemed like a solid bit of martial arts entertainment.
