Fredrick Fitzell (Dylan O'Brien, The Maze Runner franchise) is living his best live -- until he starts having horrific visions of Cindy (Maika Monroe, It Follows), a girl who vanished in high school. After reaching out to old friends with whom he used to take a mystery drug called Mercury, Fredrick realizes the only way to stop the visions lies deep within his own memories, so he embarks on a terrifying mental odyssey to learn the truth. Te mantiene en intriga y quizá sin mucha expectativa sobre la película en sí, hasta que ocurre el momento en que te explican porqué ocurrió todo y te cambia toda la perspectiva de la peli y la terminé amando, me causó emociones desconocidas, como la primera vez que vi el efecto mariposa cuando era pequeña 💖

This isn't your casual watch-while-scrolling-through-your-phone kind of movie; it demands your attention, but trust me, the payoff is immense. Rarely do I feel compelled to revisit a film, yet with 'Flashback,' I'm eagerly anticipating my next viewing. Its eerie ambiance coupled with stellar performances creates an experience reminiscent of a profound psychedelic journey. If you're drawn to mind-bending, trippy narratives, 'Flashback' is a must-watch.
