In modern-day Wyoming, teenager Katy McLaughlin (Alison Lohman) dreams of working on and, one day, taking over her father's ranch. She tames a mustang and names her Flicka, then finds that she and her new equine companion are more alike than she imagined. Mais do mesmo, mas eu adoro filmes com cavalo selvagens, lindos Mustangs, e eu odeio a maneira como eles tentam domesticar os cavalos selvagens, mesmo que bem-intencionado, isso dói no coração... Curiosidade das filmagens, dois cavalos se acidentaram e morreram durante a produção, que foram inocentadas... Filme levemente baseado na obra de Mary, onde trocaram o personagem principal, um menino de 10 anos por uma garota de 17 anos rebelde determinada, uma troca justa...

Flicka in my opinion this is one of the best movies since it contains everything, a good plot, good handling of the story and without neglecting the landscapes and the beautiful horses, I really recommend this film to all those people who like horses and even those who are not like and who are afraid of these animals, since they will be able to see the loyalty and love that they can have towards a person. It has a very good message that leaves you thinking and analyzing why you can even apply it to your life and not just because you are in that environment but in a similar situation. watch it and pay attention to all the details, you will not regret it.
