Pieter-Jan Van Haecke Psychocinematography Takeuchi succeeds in turning the contradictions, anachronisms, and the visually radicalized prejudices into a hilarious, witty adventure that touches upon the importance of being proud of one's home prefecture. Sep 27, 2020 Full Review Mark Schilling Japan Times The film is packed with spot-on observations and pointed jabs at the similarly disrespected prefectures of Chiba, Gunma, Tochigi and Ibaraki. Audience Member As a Saitamanist myself, this is nothing but hilarious! It's true that Japanese who live outside of Tokyo have a feeling we are less than people live in Tokyo. This movie just exaggerate the fact 1000% with a lot of jokes and actions! The story is good and casting is excellent. Highly recommended for people who knows about Japan a little and especially Tokyo and surrounding prefectures. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews
