Newly married to charming Mark McCune (Eric Close), Dianne Parker (Kimberly Williams) soon becomes pregnant. What should be a happy occasion turns to dismay when they discover that their daughter will be born with genetic defects. Refusing to care for such a child, Mark abandons Dianne and the baby. As time passes, Dianne manages to care for her daughter (Amanda Fein, Caitlin Fein) with the help of her mother (Blair Brown) and Mark's brother (Campbell Scott), who has always loved her.

08/23/2016 a touching story. overall a good tv movie See more 10/17/2014 Pretty much what I expected out of any movie with the Hallmark Hall of Fame stamp on it. See more 10/13/2014 Loved the movie, and the book. Loved Kimberly Williams' performance, my first time watching a movie featuring her. All the principle actors were memorable in this touching story.
