Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com Isn't a complete drag, it's just uninspired, struggling to work up the energy normally associated with this type of entertainment, presenting itself as a teen distraction that's more interested in making their parents laugh. Steve D As dated as they come. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/24 Full Review Audience Member Adults only, but overall, it's funny, original, romantic, and full of swingers' parties (you know what I mean)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The wild days are getting better in the state of Florida. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review dave s In an effort to cash in on the popularity of American International's beach movies, For Those Who Think Young fails miserably on all fronts. Not that these types of movies have to have complex plots, but the storyline here is virtually non-existent, sporadically jumping from the closing of a club to kids dancing on the beach to the relationship between the two main characters (a bland James Darren and Pamela Tiffin are no Frankie and Annette). Third-rate comics Woody Woodbury and Paul Lynde are thrown in as filler and provide nothing in the way of laughs. And to top it all off, the music is totally forgettable and borders on annoying, much like everything else in this mess. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Its your traditional surfer flick. Surfs up big Daddy. With cool surf music and hot girls. Makes you wish you were a Californian in the 60s. And it has woody woodbury, Nancy Sinatra (Franks kid), Paul Lynde and best of all Tina Louise and Bob Denver from Gilligans Island. I love the dance numbers where they use Denvers face in a way you've never seen before. This is a too pick for your Saturday silly movie playlist. You rang? Thank you Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is a hellava lot of fun. I love beach party movies with Annette and Frankie but this movie is 10 x the fun. Of course, you have to watch it tongue firmly implanted in cheek but that's what gives it it's gooey center. If you can't dig a surf movie from the 0's, you're just hard cheese! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Weak Beach Party-ish film about a group of teens who fight their college deans' attempts to close their favorite hangout. Very tedious and not at all funny. I've always had a fantasy to live in one of the Beach Party films, but I certainly don't want to subjected to the annoying people who populate this film. The film gets one star to casting the center square himself, Paul Lynde, who unfortunately was not in the film enough to save it, supporting roles by Gilligan and Ginger, a cameo by George Raft and future star Ellen Burstyn.
