But it's a small, sweet film that never tries for more than it's sure of, and the actors find it such a relief to be playing such goodhearted characters that we can almost feel it. Audience Member I won't gush about how fantastic the late and great Mark Frankel is in this movie (although he is). But I will say that this film is spectacularly well done as it relays a heartfelt story about a loving husband who just wants to see his wife happy and fulfill her last wish. There are some over the top characters and shenanigans that we'd hardly believe...but for the wonderful setting and cast who pull us in and make us family. It's a little bit dark comedy, little bit drama. But Jean Russo reels us in and the rest of the cast ensure we don't wiggle out our seats and out the door. I've rewatched this classic many times, each viewing loving it for a new reason. As usual there were some movies which you watch and find that as if you were the only one who saw it or even heard about. Would like to find the DVD in my country and would buy it for sure. :D Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member A touching & heartwarming Tragiccomedy in Front of the beautiful Italia starring the hillarious Jean Reno.
