Some great actors here . How ever considering this was the story of Jack the Ripper who we all know well by now , England is far too clean as are the unfortunates who are his victims . Would’ve loved are more dark and moody vibe

Um filme triste e realista e tão dolorido, quão humilhante e subjugada era a vida das prostitutas naquela época (ainda o é), principalmente em decorrência da escassez de medidas higiênicas eficazes e segurança… Um filme brilhante (pena terem excluídos cenas valiosamente sanguinárias) baseado no livro que implica um membro da família real como suspeito de ser Jack, o estuprador (que nunca foi identificado) e tornou se uma lenda mundial de terror e monstruosidade… Excelente terror suspense...

One of the most tasteless films based on real events. It truly amazes me how this movie got nearly everything wrong about what really happened with the unsolved murders of Jack the Ripper. Despite the great ensemble cast, practical effects, and gritty setting, this movie is just straight up insulting to not only the poor unfortunate victims of Jack the Ripper, but even to the authorities who were involved in the case and did everything they could to catch this monster.

I had no idea this film even existed. All of the non-blockbusters really do fly under the radar. It felt "Hollywood". It was polished and well-acted, but I didn't feel anything. They were protagonists and antagonists and a plot. Shoulder shrug.
