Synopsis
In an exploration of her Vietnamese identity, actress and director Tiana Thi Thanh Nga returns to Vietnam eight times over several years with a video camera to explore her family's pre-war exodus. Tiana's insights into postwar Vietnam range from personal to historical --- she is reunited with estranged family members, and she interviews political figures. She also studies the physical effects of the war in a hospital ward devoted to victims of Agent Orange.
