Having squandered his counterfeit cash by wagering on another rider instead of newly crowned rodeo champ Tex Lansing (Tex Ritter), Nat Regan (Karl Hackett) aims to get even. Nat quickly lands in a poker game against Tex's friends Stubby (Horace Murphy) and Pee Wee (Snub Pollard), and, just as he's about to con the rubes out of their money, Tex shows up and sets things straight. But soon the conniving Nat tries to frame Tex for murder and passing bad bills, forcing the cowboy to fight back.
