I had been waiting for a modern day remake of King Kong vs Godzilla and this submission does not let me down. Far from just involving the two titular monsters, it also throws a very sleek, state of the art Mechagodzilla into the mix. This movie was just what the Doctor ordered after a long dreary spell of everything being on lockdown for no reason other than "because we all Said so". The only part that I found lacking is that Millie Bobby Brown did not go down Kong's cake hole. I would have given this movie a sixth star just on the strength of that!!!!

For Godzilla fans, Kong fans, or monster fans in general, its a no-doubt must-see, but even in general its a fun, exciting, action-packed sci-fi thriller with loads of intrigue and imagination. The special effects have to be the best of 2021, and Tom Holkenborgs musical score enhances the film even further. It moved me, it thrilled me, it keeps me coming back for more!!
