Nate Ryan has himself fooled. He thinks he has a promising career co-founding a tech company that sells overpriced baby cribs and he thinks he's successfully living a life removed from his abusive father, Gene. After Nate gets the phone call saying Gene is losing a surprise battle with cancer, he returns to his dusty California hometown short on enthusiasm. Synopsis Nate Ryan has himself fooled.
