This sassy and hyperactive romp can be a bit too loud and boisterous....But it’s hard not to respond to the heartfelt innocence and childlike charms that seep from nearly every pore of this beloved movie.

“Goonies” is an entertaining film and has a cult following of teens from the ’80s, who remember the film well. Adults will enjoy watching it with their children, since it’s a more subdued family film than what comes out today.

I can understand why kids would like it, or adults who saw it as kids feeling nostalgic about it, but it's just a dumb movie, filled with bad acting, bad directing, stupid dialogue, and a ridiculous plot.

I'll never get tired of watching it. A very special group of kids who have very little fear in finding their dream that enables them to continue to live the life the way they have. Forget about some nasty rich people wanting to change it for them. They find their own way to discover a treasure that stops the rich people from destroying their property. All kinds of amusing action in it.
