This movie was hilarious! I rewatched it earlier today because we forgot to on the 40th anniversery, and it was an awesome story. I really like Data and his projects, along with Sloth and his chaos! All of the goonies were just fun characters in general, and it made this movie a great watch. I'm inevitably going to get my best friend to watch this as well just to see her face.

Fantastically adventurous cult classic with just the right tone for what it is. Every now and then though, the script takes some shortcuts that pulls you out of the suspense. Some scenes are a bit too chaotic and messy, which effectively disproves the rumour that in fact Spielberg was The Goonies' director. Though highly entertaining, it lacks the Spielberg finesse.
