The cheap-looking CGI animation has zero allure, with by-the-numbers character design contributing to the overall feeling that this lacklustre film was made almost entirely in order to prise money from the fingers of tired parents.

There are sweet messages throughout about family, friendship, and loyalty, though while animal adventures can't help but be cute, the story is pretty simplistic and there's little in terms of layers for adults or older kids to enjoy.

Vagando por el catálogo de películas animadas por aburrimiento, me encontré con está del año pasado 2024, la cuál nunca me encontré o enteré cuando se había estrenado en cines, y que bueno que no fue así. Solo pude haberlo visto en Youtube bajo el título de "mejores películas animadas", que por un momento pensé que estaría decente. Y pues resultó estarlo, pero también me hizo darme cuenta de una cosa: si vas a hacer una película para niños o al menos para un público familiar, acerca de mascotas volviendo a casa, no la hagas genérica y menos con personajes tan inexpresivos ( o muy realistas), y incluso hasta que en cierto punto dan miedo por momentos en su animación ( que no está tan pulida para ser sincero). También no dudó en expresarme que la dupla de Gracey y Pedro, está por los huevas y fácilmente podría estar unida por cinta industrial y barata, incluso con la revelación cursi de que todo este tiempo no se odiaban, solo que no se entendían y ya. Claro como si no hayamos visto demasiado en la hora y media de película como para aceptar una resolución tan básica y vista en otras películas. Despejandome de los problemas y los cabos sueltos, no la considero la peor, solo un poquito mediocre.
