Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com A disappointing effort at a retro-styled horror flick. Rated: 1.0/4.0 Sep 9, 2020 Full Review Bobby LePire Film Threat Even allowing the leeway of being a small, independent horror production, Grim Woods falls short on every level. Rated: 2/10 Mar 3, 2020 Full Review Stephanie Archer Film Inquiry Even though the ending of the film itself has a surprise, the poor acting and unnatural dialogue do rob it of its validity. Audience Member Horrible watch, will avoid in future, and you should too. While the individual short stories are at least full concepts and decent premises, the main storyline is garbage, and everything seems to be done poorly and on a shoestring budget. I honestly regret watching this, and it makes me feel like watching this movie encourages other anthologies (Krampus is decent) and super multi-pipelined stories like "Love, Actually". Have a story, write it well, hire the right people to deliver the lines and have the budget to produce it, otherwise you're putting out half a movie.
