Elijah S It was enjoyable and fun. Spent a fair amount not knowing what was going on but the pommel horse brought it all back around (please laugh) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/28/23 Full Review Steve D Amateurish in every respect. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/27/23 Full Review DanTheMan 2 If you ever thought that Enter the Dragon featured too much Bruce Lee and not enough gymnastics, Director Robert Clouse has you covered, as he was kind enough to remake it as Gymkata. Rather fitting I ended up watching this the day after I saw Enter the Dragon on the big screen. It's a movie that takes itself very seriously which often leads to unintentional hilarity but is made with such passion you can't help but love how awful it is. Filled with paper-thin plots, dumb characters and preposterous situations, Clouse doesn't miss any opportunity for gymnastics-based kung fu whether it makes sense or not. Joining the likes of Rad with its casting of a real-life Olympic athlete amongst the cast, Gymkata definitely fulfils the promise of its premise with utter cheese and devoted sincerity. You can deny this film is good, but you can't deny it's uproariously entertaining. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/14/23 Full Review Anthony S This movie isn't a world class movie, nor is it a good plot. This movie is good because they could make it, it's the idea that anyone could make any movie they want and it be showed at the same theatres that showed empire strikes back is what makes this movie amazing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Two words. Gymnastics Karata. Once again I am completely Flipped away by another Robert Clouse action-packed movie. Now I don't mean to brag, but I take responsibility for every great movie that I watch with my group and this is just another one to add to the list. Kurt Thomas Cartwheels right into the action. He is a fearless hunk of a man that inst afraid of heights, Russians, and assless robes. When Kurt Thomas's dad Colonel Cabot said "Win, Johnny..." I couldn't contain my excitement and let out a cheer of joy after watching the thrilling 3 minutes slow-motion chase. Honestly, this review doesn't do the new martial art form of Gymkata justice and I just found a 'Rent a bouncy house' company down to the street. I can't wait to try out the new sweet moves, Kurt Thomas demonstrated. Thanks for reading another JeremyHoweDoYaDo© review. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This was on HBO like everyday in the 80s. My brothers and I would watch this all the time. It's stars Gymnast Kurt Thomas I think...? Anyway this guy has the flight all these zombie like people and luckily for him, the towns folk put gym equipment around so he can use is mix of gymnastics and kata. This film is funny as hell. Kurt sports a mullet. You'll love it! Get a 6 pack and enjoy! ?? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Jason Bailey Flavorwire This really happened in Hollywood in the 1980s, which gives you some idea of exactly how much cocaine was flowing through that place back then.
