It's not a picture for cynics, requiring some relaxation while Softley explores old tech and cartoon personalities, but it's a vibrant feature that's superbly executed, making for an entertaining sit for those willing to go along with it.

So young and pretty, so much over-acting. Jolie is exotic, beautiful with that wonderful pout. Miller is almost as pretty. The rest of the cast get by. Some truly awful acting from Stevens and Bracco....and others. The representation of hacking and computers in general was so naïve, Hacker is like a historic document. Poor script and story, B grade direction.

Beautiful one of a kind original hacker movie the must see for any computer nerd. This is a early iconic movie depicting the world of teenage hackers. For the non technical this move is easy to follow and very entertaining.

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são mais ou menos, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, a história é fraca, os personagens sao fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes para fazer o filme ser bom.

Hackers is a criminally underrated film that encapsulated the early days of the thriller/hacking genre. The special effects were over the top, and the hacking was questionable in its portrayal, but that was the Hollywood envisionment of the day. Teh cast were all under-known actors at the time taht have all gone on to bigger and better things with staying power.

Listen, you either get this movie or you don’t. It’s not a cult classic for no reason. Take critics reviews here with the biggest pinch of salt you can. It’s one of my top films of all times and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve saw it. It has one of the best movie soundtracks there is for that generation and era - which was released on vinyl for its 25th anniversary in 2020. And is getting a new restoration on 4K for its 30th this year. Don’t listen to these techno-weenies. Hack the planet.
