All Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) has ever wanted is to be a professional hockey player. But he soon discovers he may actually have a talent for playing an entirely different sport: golf. When his grandmother (Frances Bay) learns she is about to lose her home, Happy joins a golf tournament to try and win enough money to buy it for her. Wasn’t funny. Finally got a chance to watch this movie that so many people love. I didn’t find it funny at all. I like Adam Sandler and get the gags, maybe watching it on a small screen took away from it? Interested to watch the 2nd on a long 14 hour flight. I work so hard to like it that it makes the tedium of a flight seem shorter.
