Audience Member This is about the "far more than the National Average" prescription drug abuse problem that Utah has. In a place so heavily steeped in religion and tradition and the happy faces, why is this? This has an excellent soundtrack as well as several poignant moments; HOWEVER, the downfall of the film is this: to show what IS, but not WHY left me disappointed. Statistics will show & prove the IS, but the good documentary maker must also show that they are exploring for us all the reasons WHY. I saw very little of that here. What was shown was the denial many still have there, even in a few of the parents who lost children, their denial was evident. This was an intersting topic, I just felt it wasn't explored well enough. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member fairly straightforward documentary in terms of technique and storytelling style, but given the subject matter and the raw emotion that surfaces during most interviews I have to say I was quite impressed. Who knew Utah was so f'ed up? ( minus of course the whole Mormon/ multiple wives stuff). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Before I had heard of this movie, I had no idea drug use was so big in Utah County. If you live in Utah, you just don't expect it. It's a very eye opening film. I enjoyed it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is nothing the box promised, but it wasn't too bad. I just would have liked to have understood what I was getting into when I rented it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This is an eye-opening and very thought-provoking documentary about drug abuse here in the Beehive State.
