Audience Member It really makes you see how connected everything is and the cnsequences of the decisions of the past... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Superb documentary about the U.S' economical and political, as well as military involvement in Latin American countries. Organized country by country account, how the U.S got in mostly for economic benefits for multinational corps. and often proceeded to create coups, civil wars, and was a force to destabilize the regime. It often opened the door later, to refugees fleeing the bloodshed that U.S was responsible for. Prepare to shed tears. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Great documentary! 4.5 stars Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Based on the excellent book of the same name, this documentary does a magnificent job of showing how US policy and involvement has harmed Latin American countries and created circumstances that led to migration. González believes "Americans won't tolerate injustice once they have the proper information" and contributes this informative documentary in hopes that he will be proven right. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member I like how comprehensively it covers America's involvement throughout the hemisphere. That stuff is all really interesting and important history. But the idea that educating Americans on why people are illegally coming to America, showing them that its the result of America's wrongdoing, will convince any of these stubborn, shortsighted racists is just crazy. I'm reasonably sure that almost everyone who sees this either already agrees with what it's trying to sell, or will never agree but may still enjoy the history lesson. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Great documentary that explains through history, family, love and emotions how Immigration reform is truly needed in the U.S..
