Audience Member Hate Story 2 released on 18th July 2014. It stars Surveen Chawla, Jay Bhanushali and Sushant Singh. This describes the hate between Surveen Chawla and Sushant Singh and how Sushant Singh destroys the life of Surveen Chawla and how the rest of revenge forms the crux of the story. This film also has a very simple storyline but the presentation is very good. The music is very good. Direction, screenplay, cinematography are fine. I give this film an above-average rating. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Good movie but a bit of a drag in the plot especially during the middle of the movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member While the story was interesting and the music was great, the performances made this movie fall flat on its face. Surveen Chawla aside, all the other actors did a poor to mediocre job in their roles. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member a time killer at most....the movie revolves around the terrorised, traumatised, terrified mistress or you can think of any other adjective as well as you must have got a picture of the leading lady by now who plays the weak souled mistress of the main villian and then falls in love with jay who gets killed for stealing(and sleeping with) the villian's mistress and then the revengue story takes off and the weak soul mistress turns into an indian "kill bill" character..not as raunchy or bold as the first installment, hate story and the leads just look about average so much that the praises and appreciations for the first installment of hate story also gets drowned down in my memory too fast by the time this movie ends.watch it with as minimum expectations as possible else better doze off fr 2 hours than watching it.that would help you relax more maybe :D :p Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member So I finally go to the theatres to watch a movie after about 6 weeks, and as usual, I pick a dud!!! Zero logic, poor screenplay and very sad story telling. Allegedly based on "Kill Bill" and "Khoon Bhari Maang" etc, this one is a test of your patience, and of your desire to get full value for your ticket money by sitting in the AC till the movie ends, because you paid for it!!!! It gets even more intriguing when the "Hero" of the movie makes his appearance only after 40 minutes or so, in a movie with a runtime of 130 mins. The only saving grace of this one is Sushant Singh. In a negative role, he provides the much needed artistic relief with a menacingly powerful portrayal of a no good politician. Surveen Chawla tries hard to be a simpering weakling in the first half and a cold blooded killer in the second half, but only ends up looking like Sushmita Sen..........is that good or bad, you decide. Jay Bhanushali's debut is flat, lacklustre and totally forgettable. Why would he choose this as his entry to hindi films? Get yourself some better advisors, Mr Bhanushali. The randomness of the movie is encapsulated in the sudden appearance of one Ms Leone in an item song called "Pink Lips", which has no relevance to the movie. Give this one a miss, for sure.
