I just streamed this 2015 movie despite the low audience and critics' ratings - and I'm so glad I did. It's a quiet, thought-provoking little film with excellent acting, pacing, and direction. Although the plot is simple, I found the film compelling and satisfying.

Wiig is so good at making you feel uncomfortable for her character, which is the crux of Hateship Loveship. When she naively falls in love via email with a bad-boy deserter of a father, she takes her cleaning skills to him.

Well acted and a story for angels. Pretty much an angel in cruel need for love managed to get it perfectly with elbow grease and patience from a lost soul on the way to hell. And saves him and the family.
