Audience Member Es interesante y divertida! Hubo escenas graciosas e intrigantes, me gusto mucho el final, como el hijo de Raul prefería jugar con una muñeca que con los dinosaurios de juguete JAJAJA. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the worst movies I´ve seen Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member "Do it like a man" is an incredible Mexican comedy film, from my point of view this movie has a great message; this movie was released in México and our country is the second country in Latin America with the highest number of homophobia homicides… what does it mean? Well we are a male chauvinist country and this is precisely the topic of the movie. I believe this movie had a positive impact in the Mexican because some people after to watch the film decided to coming out and said "Hi, I'm gay and this isn't make me different to you", and for the others it wasn't like "Oh no, you are gay and I need to kill you", it just was like "Ok, it isn't a problem, you are a person like me, you are a human like me and I´m respect you". For some Mexican journalist the movie was terrible because they said that the humor was very basic, something we were already used to, but for me "Do it like a man" is one of the best Mexican movies ever: in my opinion the humor that the director used is precisely the Mexican humor that he needed to convince us about the homophobia is a virus in our society. Come on! We are in the 21st century and be gay or no it´s completely "normal", all we are persons and all we have the same human rights and the homophobia isn't a taboo topic, it's a reality that we live it day by day in our ordinary life. So I invite you guys to see this movie, I promise that you will not regret it and after to seeing it your perspective about homophobia will change for good! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member The humor (sexual and toiletish) may not be for everyone, and I certainly would not want to watch this with my parents in the room, but this movie had me in tears laughing through many scenes. The actors are all brilliant. Some of the faces they give are priceless, particularly the "sexist, homophobic, conservative" protagonist, who deals with the revelation of his life-long best friend being gay in very humorous, if a bit clichéd, fashion. This is very much an 'It's 2017, get over it!' kind of movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member damn it, this movie was boring as hell, I didn[t laugh not even once, everything was bad with this one Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Un clichà (C) bien actuado y súper bien hecho. Monica Castillo New York Times Of course, there are intolerant people everywhere, but Nicols Lpez's movie isn't clever enough to make its lead character sympathetic or multidimensional, only more insufferable. Aug 31, 2017 Full Review Randy Cordova Arizona Republic It is high-spirited, buoyant and full of laughs. The movie also has some nicely affecting moments that deal with male friendship and loneliness, and Lpez is deft enough to capably navigate the moves into deeper emotional waters. Rated: 4/5 Aug 31, 2017 Full Review Gary M. Kramer Philadelphia Gay News "Hazlo Como Hombre" is a sweet bromantic comedy about (in)sensitivity. What's more, it ends with a terrific punchline that is sure to leave viewers smiling. Nov 17, 2017 Full Review Michael Ordoña Common Sense Media Tons of sex talk and situations in comedy about acceptance. Rated: 4/5 Sep 1, 2017 Full Review Ernesto Diezmartinez Cine Vértigo At best, the film is functional, the story can hardly be called a comedy. [Full review in Spanish] Aug 24, 2017 Full Review Adrián Ruiz Excelsior (MX) As the pieces are accommodated, the film entertains with classic clichs, among other elements.
