Steve D Dylan can't act and the script is thin. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/02/23 Full Review Audience Member (**): Not nearly as bad as I had heard, but I wouldn't say its all that good either. A predictable film that had the potential of being better. Fair at best. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member i wtched this film when it first came out! love it!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolutely dire acting and a really dull story - but this film sits among my favourites because Fiona Flanagan sings some songs which I did not already have. It surprises me that Rupert Everett and Julian Glover agreed to take part. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member i watched this religiously as a kid, so i dont care if anyone thinks this is crap!!! Variety Staff Variety Dylan performs well, though he looks a mite uncomfortable during the musical numbers. He certainly appears fitter than Everett whose voice is as wet and stilted as his performance. Nov 9, 2007 Full Review Time Out Staff Time Out A half-baked rock'n'roll fable. Feb 9, 2006 Full Review TV Guide Staff TV Guide Director Richard Marquand died after completing this film, and it only received a limited release before ending up on the video shelves. Rated: 2/4 Nov 9, 2007 Full Review Film4 Staff Film4 Dylan's participation in such tosh should anger fans more than when he went electric. May 24, 2003 Full Review Read all reviews
