Christie Cronan Common Sense Media This twist on a post-apocalyptic thriller is more mood than story-based, with tightly framed shots and a strong performance by Skarsgård helping to solidify the intimate, isolating feel. May 29, 2024 Full Review Daniel Kurland Bloody Disgusting Hidden garners a lot of its goodwill but wisely keeping you in darkness, cramped framing, and isolated shots that make you feel just as trapped as the characters. Mar 19, 2020 Full Review Alberto Abuín Espinof There isn't anything here you haven't seen before, but it emanates a pure honesty. [Full Review in Spanish] Mar 19, 2020 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews It's clear fairly early on that Hidden benefits substantially from the Duffer brothers' patient, methodical approach to their spare screenplay... Rated: 3/4 May 25, 2017 Full Review John Noonan FILMINK (Australia) Hidden is a chamber piece spiked with apocalyptic sensibilities. Feb 29, 2016 Full Review Mike McGranaghan Aisle Seat You know how people say 'yadda yadda yadda' when telling a story, assuming that the listener can fill in certain gaps on their own? Well, Hidden is a whole movie full of 'yadda yadda yadda'. Rated: 1.5/4 Oct 18, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews

Pete A Cool concept, horribly execution. Nothing the family does makes sense, from letting rats eat their food to not making sure their lanterns don’t tip over to NEVER DISCIPLINING THEIR ANNOYING LOUDMOUTH DAUGHTER. Oh my God, I wanted the Breathers to get Zoe within the first five minutes. She’s 13, but she acts like she’s 3. Too bad, could have been a good, slow-burn suspense/monster movie but instead it vacillates between boring and annoying. The twist ending is interesting for a minute, but then it gets stupid, too. Save yourself a couple hours. Let this one go. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/04/24 Full Review Jason M It’s a solid movie. Kept my interest the entire time and took unexpected turns. I would have appreciated a little more explanation around the premise, but even without it my family enjoyed. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/28/24 Full Review Audience Member I was expecting a low budget boring movie. I give the Duffer brothers a lot of credit for keeping the movie moving along and the twist at the end was quite surprising. Once they are done with Stranger Things, I look forward to more movies from these two. They are very creative. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/17/24 Full Review Audience Member Awesome thriller, great twist at the end! I just wish the film itself was longer. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/24 Full Review Matt G Budget "A Quiet Place." Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/08/23 Full Review Steve H Fun atmospheric movie with one helluva twist. Worth the watch.
