Bloody Disgusting

Hidden garners a lot of its goodwill but wisely keeping you in darkness, cramped framing, and isolated shots that make you feel just as trapped as the characters.

O roteiro é maravilhoso e as atuações impecáveis. Especialmente do pai e da filha que domina todo o filme. Os momentos de interação deles são bem emotivos. O plot é bem surpreendente e tudo leva a que poderiam fazer uma continuação, que até o momento não ocorreu. Algumas cenas são bem escuras, o que tirou 1 ponto da minha avaliação. Queria cenas mais iluminadas que pudessemos aproveitar visualmente das atuações.

I was completely surprised by the plot twist. I did not see that coming at all. I also enjoyed the well rounded finish. The acting was impeccable and had me captivated the entire. This movie may be nearly 10 years old but is more entertaining with a better storyline than most of the stuff produced today. Definitely would recommend.

Cool concept, horribly execution. Nothing the family does makes sense, from letting rats eat their food to not making sure their lanterns don’t tip over to NEVER DISCIPLINING THEIR ANNOYING LOUDMOUTH DAUGHTER. Oh my God, I wanted the Breathers to get Zoe within the first five minutes. She’s 13, but she acts like she’s 3. Too bad, could have been a good, slow-burn suspense/monster movie but instead it vacillates between boring and annoying. The twist ending is interesting for a minute, but then it gets stupid, too. Save yourself a couple hours. Let this one go.

I was expecting a low budget boring movie. I give the Duffer brothers a lot of credit for keeping the movie moving along and the twist at the end was quite surprising. Once they are done with Stranger Things, I look forward to more movies from these two. They are very creative.
