      Audience Member Do not watch this sober. Despite the convoluted story, terrible editing, and rats about as scary as puppies, it's a good watch if you're under the influence. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I watched Hood Rat with my family and we loved it for all of the wrong reasons! This is basically about a bum who frees a rat from a trap and all hell breaks loose when the bum is messed over by the owner and landlord of the complex they live in. This is one of those hood movies where you get your friends together, grab some grub, and sit at the screen and wonder "WTF and why?" Hood Rat is a cool movie to waste some time to on a Saturday night.
