Tonea Stewart

Tonea Stewart was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She had an early role on the television special "Story of a Marriage" (PBS, 1986-87). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "In the Heat of the Night" (CBS, 1987-1994). She additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Unconquered" (CBS, 1988-89) and "Caroline?" (CBS, 1989-1990). In the nineties, she acted in the Terry Kinney thrilling mystery "Body Snatchers" (1994) and the Matthew McConaughey box office smash dramatic adaptation "A Time to Kill" (1996). She also starred in the TV movies "Leave of Absence" (NBC, 1993-94) and "One Christmas" (NBC, 1994-95). Stewart also appeared in the action movie "Hoodrat" (2001) with Isaiah Washington and the Bow Wow comedy "Lottery Ticket" (2010). She held additional roles in television including a part on "American Horror Story" (FX, 2011-). She also had a part in the TV miniseries "Mama Flora's Family" (1998-99). Most recently, Stewart acted in the comedy "American Hero" (2015) with Stephen Dorff.
